‘tables and stairs’ on admirable restraint

admirable restraint is a bi-monthly radio program hosted by Alastair Wilson (who used to co-host the audition program on resonance fm) on sydney’s 2mbs radio station. Admirable restraint is right now one of the handful radio programs around focusing specifically on electroacoustic improvisation and related musics and, well, it sometimes airs some of this label’s music in the process.

in this week’s edition more specifically, Alastair aired one track off stasis duo’s ’3′ cdr, but also -more importantly for all those who’ve been interested but hesitant to dip more than their toe in- he played a good chunk off the new ‘tables and stairs’ cd by monsieurs Ferran Fages, Robin Hayward and Nikos Veliotis.

luckily for you, each show is archived and stored online for a forthnight (until the next show is on that is), so you can check all this good music now (along with some other gems) by clicking on the link below:

also, a small technical note:
computer playback is not adviced (unless you have a $1000 soundcard of course).
ideally played back through a regular stereo system.
